Typing while playing music: Your arms cover the speaker holes.

Headphone Jack: On the wrong side. My connector is long and hits my mouse.

How do your arms cover the speakers? Is it tilted upward? Mine sounds fine when I type. Yes my arms are over the speakers, but it does not seem to affect the sound. I see your point about the headphone jack.

yeah, i have to agree about the headphone jack and speakers, i noticed that too.

Does anyone else notice a very slight dark spot on the bottom corners of the screen, it seems less bright.

I have to agree with the arm covering the left speaker flaw. In counter strike I end up with only right channel audio since my left arm/wrist is covering the left speaker

i have 5.1 speakers when i'm at my desk, so it doesn't matter usually. But yeah, i play CS too, and noticed the speaker thing that way.

I have a small dark area near the clock on the taskbar. I don't notice it unless I look for it.

yeah, i have it there and on the corner of the start button.

yup, though very small, bottom right and left corners are a little darker than the rest of the screen, but no biggie, its not really noticable unless u actually look for it

The USB ports are on the wrong side. Most people are right handed mouse users, therefore the mouse has to go all the way around the back. The speaker thing definetly blows. I would also probably prefer the CDR bay to be on the right side, but that is just preference. I also prefer the Toshibs keyboard.

I like the USB ports on the left and letting my mouse cord run behind the back. It leaves just enough slack cable for my mouse :-). To fix the speaker thing, I just lift up the back of my notebook with a thick book. I find it easier to type and my speakers not getting muffled by my left hand.

I prefer the DVD+-RW drive on the left coz im right handed and use the mouse on my right. Although having the headphones on the right does tangle the cables with my mouse sometimes.
