[PICS] My 9300 carrying case!

My buddy gave me a briefcase that he didn't need. Since I don't have a case for my 9300 I thought "hey, maybe it'll fit in the briefcase!". Well it fits perfectly! For anyone that watched "24", it reminds me of "The Football" - I should leave it handcuffed to my wrist when I'm traveling. I put some padding around the hinges so that they do not cause scratches. Anyway, thought I'd post a couple pics.

I have that exact breifcase. I used to carry a Sony laptop in it with padding taken from a foam pillow. I bought a Targus XL bag for the 9300.
It is a good idea though.

Where did you buy that from?

I bought mine at one of the office supply stores. It was either Office Max, or Office Depot.

My friend gave it to me so I have no idea where it originally came from. I looked all over and couldn't find any kind of brand.

It looks like it fits perfectly. However, I would be concerned about the padding inside the briefcase, or lack thereof. Do you think the briefcase could protect your lappie from a fall?

BTW, I like the "football" reference.

It's pretty well padded, and it fits snug enough that the laptop doesn't flop around when carrying it. Not sure it'd survive a 20 foot drop though

yeah, It kind of does look like the football. I really dont understand how they deactivated the magnetic field by just scratchng the outside of the case.

There was a microchip implanted under the surface of the leather. I think the guy either removed it or destroyed it.

Ah, that explains it.

I have a Targus aluminum briefcase that is made for laptops and my XPS2 fits nice and cosy with double padding on the sides. No room for the PS though....
Look at CDW:

It's fits the XPS style pretty well...hehe
