Who is gettin what with the $750 off $1499 tomorrow?? I am gonna get a 700m, still working on the config tho. What are some of your guys configs to get to the $1500??

I am kind of trying to decide between just one 8cell battery or a 4 cell and an additional 8 cell. Maybe 2 year warranty?
I would go with a 4 cell & 8 Cell, but drop down to a 1 year warranty to keep the price down to as close to $1500.

right now I am looking at

1.6, 256 ram (will upgrade myself), 4cell+8cell, 60 gig 1 year warranty=$1486

need $14

maybe instead of a system upgrade, just buy a cheap accessory.

Be aware that only certain pre-configured system qualify for $750 off. You can still customize but not all the options are available. DO NO USE general customize page to configure your system. Here is the link for the promotional models.

Edit: Actually Dell's 64mb USB drive seems not to be free at all. The base price of the same 700m is up about $30 compare to last time the same $750 deal in May 23.

yeah thats what i am using

I got the basic machine + 8 cell + 2 yr CC. I added as stick of 512mb after and put in a 7K60 drive. Really nice for $780 after tax.

Are they offering free shipping tomorrow too?

you mean it was 780 before the ram and drive you put in after right??

I sure hope there is free shipping, cuz that might ruin the deal

Site says they have free shipping for over $899....I hope that is before the coupon

"Instant savings offer is combinable with free shipping" whatever that means

hmm...that's a good point, weeb. Either way, it's a good deal...but I may find myself adding some random crap.

I would get at least a 3 year warranty if I were you. Laptop repairs can be expensive. Also, you might turn into one of those trolls that complain that your laptop broke just a week after the warranty expired and Dell won't fix it.

The ****ing Price Skyrocketed!!!

Well Dell killed the deal on the 700m before it even started.
damn this sucks... cant take 3 years warranty reduced , only 1 processor speed option and all for 700 M. as I stated in coupons topic .. and thanks guy for answering me... the code did work now.. but I am pissed.. I wanted to be under $950 for 700M as a 2nd laptop.. but it appears its not going to happen. but I havent given up yet for configurations

the 700m is pretty much useless
one you add the 8cell and 60 gig....your gonna come out around $1000

more than I was hoping to pay.
hmm Dell is offering extra 3% off using DPA accounts and I still have $50 coupon somewhere , ( it came in the mail ) from Dell.. that might make it little bit better.

700m

I just ordered the 700m using the coupon.

I got 1.6ghz
60 gig
256 ram (will upgrade to 1.2gigs)
2 year warranty
8cell battery
remote control

and a few other things for $900...

if you wait until july, i heard they are releasing this coupon again... but i dont care to wait 2 months just to save $100

happy with the purchase.... so far

Yeah i ordered,

1.6ghz
256 ram (wil upgrade myself)
4cell and 8cell
DVD burner
2 year warranty
40 gig

came out to $833 after all coupons and taxes (free shipping).
Not too bad, I just wich I could drop the DVD burner and get the 60 gig instead, that would be the exact config I wanted. That would also drop $60 from my credit card.
