No battery charge/discharge info
On my 5680, I'm getting unexpected results from MobileMeter. The CPU temperature always looks reasonable when on or off AC power. On AC it is in the upper 50s under load, on battery in the low 50s under load. Upper 40s when idle in either case. Not sure how accurate, but at least they make sense. However...- It detects whether I'm on battery or not, switching between Charge/Discharge Rate legend on the chart. But it always reads 0.00w on this chart.
- The hard drive temperature goes to 0.0 degrees when on battery. When on AC power, it's in the upper 30s as expected.
- The Frequency is pinned to 3.20GHz +/- .03 GHz. When I switch to battery, the system gets noticably slower, but the frequency on the chart remains the same. I'd expect to see it throttled back to a much lower frequency in this situation. I tried changing the setting from "Measure Actual" to "From OS", but this only caused it to be pinned at 3.20GHz without the +/- .03 fluctuation.
Anyone else seeing these quirks? I agree, MobileMeter is super-easy to install and is very attractive. And the parts that work on my 5680 are very useful.
