Battlefield 2 Demo & Game Releasing Soon

The demo is supposed to come out June 10/11th and the game is being released on the 22nd, and I for one cannot wait. Is anyone else from this community going to be playing this highly talked about game? I am wondering how it is going to run on the mobile 9800. I hope it can at least play it on medium detail and get a decent framerate...

I am probably gonna check it out but I am not gonna buy the game until like the end of this year because I am gonna be hella busy and hella broke to buy anything for play!! Kinda sucks but oh well..

I'll also be grabbing this when it's released. Been waiting a long time and the trailers just arn't doing it for me anymore.

I would say it will run fine on the mr9800.

I dont know about it running fine on the mr9800 if you look at the vids, they are not that smooth...and I can bet they are running on quite high end machines, so the mr9800 will be quite outmatched in my humble opinion...but I could be wrong.

The MR 9800 will prob have no problem (especially with the "bells & whistles" turned off) running the game. I am not so sure for us MR9700 users though.

While I like BF 1942 I am a REALLY BIG fan of Call of Duty. Can't wait for #2 to come out. CoD runs beautifully on my MR9700-based machine. I hope CoD #2 does as well.

Well guys, I'm running my stock 9700 no more heat mod no overclocking etc..and I have the game at 1024x768 (need to edit the config to get widescreen) with 2x AA and most of the sliders on high except for lighting and shadows.

Game looks amazing and only has slowed down during an artillery barrage in the city with many many units running around when i was gunnin on top of a tank.......

GAME ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh btw, im running Catalist 5.2 * i think * omegas...they were the ones that worked best with CS source (HA ... Like ill ever play that game again)

I run at 1024x786 @ 60hz 4xAA, settings are mid-high and get about 50-60 fps. Get this game, it rocks! Power to demolishionists!
