Tell us if you can run it smoothly at 1920x1200
post #3 of 35
been playing it all day at 1920x1200 on my gen2 i tried it at different resolutions running FRAPS and the frames per second didnt change much or at all at different resos. runs pretty nice, frame rate is anywhere from 100s down to 24ish with the frame limiter off drawdistance maxxed out and i have the fx option on medium which is for smoke and stuff cause that will tank you frames if its on very high when cars are smoking or burning etc.. ... i also tried a few different sets of drivers as i always do with any new game i get no difference that i could tell tried 7713 7650 7644 so far and no noticeable difference. have fun its an awsome game ...

You mean the 3.9 gig demo?

In all seriousness, if you guys dig the "demo" support the maker by purchasing it.

I've been playing it on my i9300 with everything maxed out for a lil' bit now, and it runs perfectly. I imagine it should run excellently on the XPS 2

90% of the games I DL I don't play all the way through. I only own HL2, Doom 3 and SC:CT

SC:CT> didn't even bother finishing. Fun game, but it is very demanding.

Are people still playing Ultima Online? I'm tempted to take it up again. Used to play it a couple of years back. Though perhaps a MMORPG isn't such a good idea... I have lots to do :S

People are still playing, though not as much as before. I don't even really play lately (too busy with WoW), but keep my account open because I have too much time invested in it to part with it....that and I eBayed off about 65 Soulstone codes I collected from various EB/Gamestop stores for a nice $1000+ profit so I figure my monthly fee is covered for the next few years. :-) The do have an interesting looking expansion coming out in August...you can find details on the UO website.

Seriously what do you guys see in WoW? I REALLY tried liking it but the game is so bland. It takes all the mediocre shit from other games and crams it into the warcraft world.
