Task List Programs

I have 53 processes going right no and i am only running aim and my ie2 (internet). I dont know y i have so many. I have this task list form answersthatwork but they dont have any of my processes (or atleast not alot of them). Any one have a good updated list? I also want to do the smae to my startup list. Is there anything that comes on my comp that i should take of the startup?

Google will tell you about any process running (just about).

I would run some form of spyware detection..ie adaware by lavasoft. After that finishes check and see how many processes are running. That is if you haven't already done that.

Use this to find info on processes you have running on your pc.

Running Adaware SE or SpyBot S&D will possibly remove some processes that are running on your pc, if they are found to be malicious
