I am teaching my son to drive using Burnout 3 on the Xbox. After we are done with these lessons we will teach him good citizenship using Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Lets hope he gets the wrecks out of the way before he graduates to glass and metal.

That setup will keep him occupied until 3D surround systems go into production.

You have heard about it though right? About 3% of the population can pick up on the color wheel spinning in the background. It's maddening. I actually got an intense headache from it. I was waiting for this set to come out for over a year and was so bumbed out that I fell in that 3%. I chalk it up to the laser eye surgery the Army did on me.

I read up fully on it and new about it before buying. My family and I don't see it so we are cool with DLP vs LCD, LCOS, or Plasma.
I think DLP hands down (besids plasma, but they have so many other fualts) has the best looking picture. Which sucks even more since I cant use one. I even tried another brand who's color wheel spins at a faster RPM but to no avail.

I tried a few RP LCD's after that but wasnt satisfied with non HD programing. So I'm still using my Sony Wega till something comes along.

I'm jeolus.
My gamertag is Neolink if you want to add me. I'm not on live much these days though.

You play Guild Wars? As far as a nice pic, have you looked at LCOS? The newer DLP chip (I think also think the wheel is diff) might work better as well. Look at the new Samsung 50" DLP with the pedestal built in.

Negtive on Guild Wars. I run a guild in World of Warcraft.

Dont pay attention to the roster, I have close to 50 members but I cant get them to put the game down long enough to register. lol

I had a few friends try out GW's and came right back. Something about having to be in a group just to leave the city since the whole world is an instance.
