Playing DVD's

I have a 9300 with the 17 inch wide screen, and for the life of me a few DVDs I can't seem to run them in FULLLLL SCREEEN they want to have like 2 inches cut off top and bottom no matter what I do, any suggestions or good software.



Question 2, I have POWER DVD and when I run a dvd I can only use the touch pad, if I move the mouse it goes back to title screen?

DVDs have a different aspect ratio than widescreen notebooks. your movie is showing in 16:9, while your notebook is 16:10. Due to this, there will be small bars at the top and bottom.
