I am not quite sure what the problem is but here goes...
I am an EQ2 player and about a month ago or so my group mates started to tell me that I am warping. Meaning that when we are all running down the path that every once in awhile I'll disappear and reappear a moment later usually a few spaces before where I was. The only thing I would notice is that I was slightly slower than the rest of them.
That was then and this is now, which means that I am seemingly randomatically going from SLOW to a normal mode of play. I installed FRAPS which gives me my FPS and notice that my FPS is anything but normal. I go from a high of 80 in one second to as low as 1 to 4 the next. My average during the slow is 11 and my average during the 'good play times' is around 40.
I have tried the normal LAN connector instead of running it in wireless mode and I still get the same issues. Reinstalled the game, still no change. Reinstalled the OS with the latest and greatest driver from sager and still no change (yes I have the BIOS update).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jon
