What a bunch of cheaters lol. XPS Gen 2 = 6800 Ultra. XPS M170 = 7800GTX. Stop embarrasing them with your GTX and open your own thread.

I only used stock settings to get these on my XPS gen2, 2.13 Ghz and 2 gigs of ram, I know my ultra 6800 scores don't compare but I did notice a huge gain when I installed the 7800GTX.

6800 Ultra Scores
4249 3DMarks 3DMark05 with Antivirus on
4421 3DMarks 3DMark05 with Antivirus off
4541 everything turned off diag mode
Aquamark3 67,456


12/15/05
7800GTX installed

6593 3DMarks 3DMark05 with everything on (i.e. Antivirus)

i used 3dMark 05, and got like 18000... why is this like triple wht everyone else got? did i do something wrong? i remeber doing it three times to make sure and i always got arounf 18000...

wow 18000! thats an awesome score Is your 1710 the dual core 2? That totally blows away the Malx thing that Alienware has. the best that system showed is around 10,900 3dmarks...
Can you give us a screen shot of that score because I really want to upgrade and that could really push me in that direction.

Are you running 3DMark05 and not 3DMark03? If not, that's a veeery nice score.

sorry i thought i had explained but it was in another post. i htought i was getting that in it, but it was in 03, i then ran 05 and got 8500 which is in my Sig.
