Dude, it seems to be normal. If you talk ot any of the people in here who have ordered, and received their AW's, they'll just tell you to be patient. It seems rather normal.
I too had to deal with the multiple addresses thing. You see, I just got married and we moved into our house early, so I changed all my credit cards to the new billing address. But then, when I do the whole financing thing, and they send out the paperwork, well, FedEx tried delivering to my house at like, 12:30 pm. I'm at work at 12:30. I can't just sit around all day waiting for a package as small as that. So, I decided to change my shipping address to my work address, that way I'll have it on the first delivery attempt, and on time. But this creates a problem. Now I have 3 damned addresses that they are looking at. My drivers license say my old address, my billing address is my new address, and my shipping address is my work address. I had to do that Verid-ID thing 3 times, to verify my addresses. I started this whole process on May 20th. I just hit phase 4 yesterday, and of course, the screen and video card I ordered are backordered (rumored supposed delivery of parts on Monday)
So, you will indeed wait a long time. But, from the sounds of things it is worth the wait. Even though I was hoping to have this rig before I started classes. But, what can I really do, but wait?
I've never bought a computer whole before. I've always built them, so, I'm not even sure how long it takes for companies like Dell to deliver a custom pc, much less a custom laptop.
I sent a nice long email detailing some of my problems. I was told I would receive a response within 24 hours. Well, I didn't get a response within that time frame, but my order did move up to phase three a few hours after I sent my email. I'm not sure if my email had anything to do with it, or if it was just a natural progression, but, I was certainly happy to see it move, so, I wasn't complaining anymore.
Good luck with your wait. I'm sure if you wait it out, and finally get your pc, you'll be happy that you did. At least, that's what I'm hoping for in my case.
