i guess SAJER is the way to say it, but i dont think that's the main problem. regardless of how u pronounce it, it would help psychologyically to know what sager means.
in the interest of truth and justice, i sent an email to sager asking what sager and midern meant/ where they came from. they kindly replied something like 'midern is the company and sager is the brand'. i guess kind of like a dell inspiron where inspiron would be like sager. but that didnt really help me.
i mean, regarding the manufacturer names: dell, apple, gateway and ibm we know that they mean/refer to: a guys name, an overpriced yet attractive piece of fruit in a rainbow of colors, a doorway for entering another area, and international business machines (or whatever) or for Inspiron we can figure out that it refers to Inspiration. but is sager derived from "sage" - wise person? or what? and what of midern? these things are a mystery wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a vest!
even though it may seem trivial to worry about semantics when there are important bus speeds and video cards to discuss; i think this issue is fundamental to the future success of Sager. how can the average consumer embrace a computer who's name has no meaning? or sounds so curious rolling off the tongue without any explaination?
