Dell Outlet - Good stuff, or not so good?

I'm not one to buy used or refurbished computer stuff (I never have before), but I'm curious about the Dell Outlet. Anyone ever buy anything there? Is the condition of the items pretty good? or not so good?

Also, where is the pricing better? Dell Outlet? or a new Dell with coupons?

i have heard the price is higher than new. quality wise is good.
however some deals are great.

your best bet is to check both the dell outlet and regular site to make appropriate comparisons..sometimes the outlet can have some killer deals..and sometimes not

my 700m was a good deal and only has one minor scratch on the top of the case (you have to really be looking) otherwise its new so its an ok way to buy.

In perusing the various 700m models offered at Dell's outlet, they look to be priced below what the retail (no coupons) store offers, but somewhat higher than the best retail coupon deals. The main "bargain" on the outlet models is that some of them come with Office 2003 preloaded - a $279 option at Dell home. I used a $750 coupon on June 7 to price a $1526 700m down to $776 before tax. I haven't seen any 700m models on the outlet for less than that. It's all about the shopping - no?
