Screen problem with 3880

I realize not many people have 3880's on here yet, but if you could just give me suggestions or ideas, I'd apreciate it.

OK> When my notebook is running soley on the battery (fully charged 12 cell) it freezes at the login screen and displays a fuzzy patchwork of random colors. Now, since this only happens when on the battery, and since LCD's need exactly the right amount of voltage to work, im guessing it is a voltage problem with the battery and that it is deffective. What do you think? I have no idea why the colors do not appear when windows is going through the initial bootup, and then appear at the login screen.

Call up Sager. I think i had that problem and they sent me a BIOS update. All fixed now.

Reset the Bios and all is good.
