Second Apple, First Notebook

Thread Starter
On thursday, I bought a new 17 inch Powerbook with an extra 512MB of Ram. I had a good experience with the people at the store and my mod only took thirty minutes. I think Apple really has the customer service thing down, as I was met by curtious, knowledgable employees who helped me. This is my second mac in about a year and my first notebook. I already own a 29 inch iMac with Panther. First, I think Tiger is worth the upgrade, as it makes my computing experience much less difficult. I think its worth the money and I will buy the upgrade for my imac. The screen is nice, but not as nice as my iMac screen, but that can be expected with power issues. I think the keyboard is great, not cramped and flimsy as some people say. The only thing that irks me about this computer is the heat dissipated by the processor. After awhile, this somputer gets noticebly warm. That is probably my only pet peeve with this mac. Overall, I am more than pleased with my new mac, and I will never switch back to Windows now. This thing will probably last me a while faithfully without any problems.

Could just be an imac attatched to a 29" lcd, couldn't it? Unless it's a G5 imac, in which case that's a horrible waste of an lcd.
