PXE-E05 Error Please HElp

Hi i have Toshiba Satellite 2800 DVD C301. It was working fine till about 2 months when it started suddenly giving "PXE-E05: The LAN Adapter's configuration is corrupted or has not been initialized. The boot agent cannot continue." It used to happen once in a while and now its happening on every boot and you can't boot when its not plugged in to a power supply, on battery it just keeps on giving same error. Now i have tried following things
  • I have reinstalled Bios about 3 times and it still happens
  • There is no disable in bios for LAn card and it still shows HDD as first one in boot sequence
  • I haev even taken out lan card connector as on web some one suggested to do that as LAN card may be corrupted but it still happens with LAN Adapter plugged in
So what can i do ? Its causing me a lot of problem. Some one said HD may be going, well then why does it boot up when its plugged in electricity and not on battery. while it still takes a no of tries to boot it by press F2 to get to boot select sequence, which also does not work in Battry mode at all.

Please help

First buy a new battery. It acts as a buffer for the power, if the battery is really bad most of the current from the power brick is possibly trying to charge your battery leaving not enough to properly power the LAN adapter. See if it any better without the battery installed at all.

Hi i tried taking out the battery it doesnot help
It still gives error it takes quite a no of tries to make it boot. Everytime i boot i try pressing F2 which is for boot sequence selection but that doesnot help as it still end up on PXE-E05 error line and not on boot sequence. What i don't understand is how it gives error when i have taken out the connector for LAN Adapter.

Look for anything in the BIOS that says LAN Boot ROM, Boot from LAN, or PXE and disable them. Does it continue to boot after that error, or stay at that screen?

Well in bios there is only a boot sequence option which you can change by selecting which device to boot first i.e HDD-->FDD-->LAN-->CDROM. there is no option of disabling LAn thats why i physically unplugged it after it was causing this problem in hope that it will solve it but no avail it still gives same error
