Thread Starter
I am talking about the ones on the Asus Z71v and the Sager NP4880.

Which one is better and why? I cannot make up my mind on the two.

checkout the reviews and the benchmarks of the video cards
x700 is clocked higher and therefore faster

just caused its clocked higher doesn't mean it will be faster.

but what 1cent said, check out review.

it is faster stock, but has less OCing potential i think.

The 6600 go in the 3880 is clocked little higher than the one in the asus. But still the x700 is faster. You can see some benchmarks in Sager reviews/benchmarks, comparing 3880 to 4880.

The X700 is faster. The additional 128MB just makes it even better.

X700 is faster, the x700 has great OC potential. I got my Oced x700 to around 6960 (or thereabouts) while another poster broke 7000 in 3dmark03. I only have the 128mb version.

X700 is still faster than nVIdia 6600. I would say the nVidia 6600 is between ATI x600 and x700. There is a gap between there where nVidia 6600 could sit nicely.
