So I went searching for a MiniPCI ethernet adapter that supports my DI-624's 108Mbps.

This little gem right here seems to be working great so far...

Here's the connection proof...

The XPS2 WiFi light just stays lit, but the FnF2 still turns the radio off/on. Good enough for me. Bluetooth light works as it should though...

The weird thing is my Proxim ORiNOCO utility seems to work with it as well...haven't tried the Intel utility yet.

Supports all the latest Encryption as far as I can tell....I use WPA-PSK.

Unfortunately you won't notice a difference between 54mbps and 108mbps. Even transfering large files isn't much faster with 108. I turned the Super G feature off my router because it was just too buggy. Transfering a large amount of MP3s took just as long at 54mbps.

Nothing, I bought it for $42. Thought I would give it a try.

You can get it from sunwilltech.com

The only real 'friendly' way to get 108Mbps out of wireless is to use the dualband adapters that occupy both 802.11a and 802.11g band.
