i just installed steam onto my new 700m and can play HL with no troubles at all. Since they run on the same engine, I don't think you will have a problem. I will install CS probably later today.

are you talking about the original or source???

I dont know for sure but I think the original should play just fine, its a pretty old game and shoulndt be demanding at all for newer hardware (even integrated graphics).
