new ac adaptor

after about a year now my 8790's ac adaptor has started to go. i need to wiggle the cords, put pressure on the case, smack it constantly in order to get it to work. i could order a new one for $90 but i was hoping there was a cheaper 3rd party ac adapter that will work just as well. is anyone aware of/using one?

Go to ebay.com and search under "Sager 8790", and you'll see new AC adapters for $55.95 (buy it now). I'm not sure how good these units are or how long they last, but at least it's start for your search.

that ac adapter is almost identical to the one that came with the computer and seems to work just fine
