Dead pixel fixer

Thread Starter
According to this http://www.psp-vault.com/Article168.psp (via PSP - Vault), Best Buy has a video file that has reasonable success with fixing dead pixels. Anybody try anything like this?

From what I hear it is simply a video that flashes a million different colors super fast, some say it can stimulate dead pixels, I guess it just depends on the reason why "your" pixel is dead.

Well i recommend having a screen saver that moves a lot if you dont use your computer for long periods of time... also set the screen saver to turn on after like 30 minutes or less...

Doing things like that seams to help prevent what i call burn spots on the LCD... you see after years of use with a screen saver that doesnt move or with a simple background & the screen saver never turning on you will get dark/dim spots on the screen and like mine, they are in the shape of a family photo & they are perminate, using a moving screen saver seams to pervent it...

Screen Savers are not necessary for LCD's......
