How many dead pixels were in your Sager?

Post the model you bought if possible. I'm just trying to make sure I don't have like 6 or 7 dead pixels on my laptop when I buy it.

9860

After a week of recieving it, I had one pixal turn light blue. I rubbed it gently and it went back to normal. That was 2 months ago. I travel daily with my Sager so it gets a bit jostled around, and so far there have been no other issues.

Welll...the DVD player stopped recording DVDs, but an email to Sager got me a new one in a few days. Apparently the TOSHIBA DVD-R's have known issues.

wait, touching the screen (lightly obviously) actually helps remove dead pixels?
yeah. I know it sounds crazy but I read it on a thread around here somewhere and in some cases it does work.

0 Dead pixels here on my 9860. Had it for about a month now. Screen is still still flawless.

1 pixel stuck on light blue in the bottom lefthand side of the screen. I never notice it, unless i specifically look for it. I should probably try the screen rubbing thing, hope it works.

none in windows mode, but when I play some games, I get partially lit pixels all around the corners of the screen =/ very annoying and unnecessary.

0 on my 9860 and 0 in the 2 9880's I purchased. (I did not buy the "no dead pixel" policy).

0 dead pixels in the 9860 I've had since February, and I didn't buy a No Dead Pixel plan.

Well, I bought my Sager 3790-S back in November 04. March 28, 2005, my entire screen is ****ed right now. Imagine watching a TV that gets poor reception through a set of rabbit ears. That is what my screen looks like right now. I had to wait til now to get an RMA because I needed it for school. I contacted someone at PC Torque about it, and they told me to contact Sager instead. I contact Sager, and I get a call back from someone that can barely speak English.

I've been quite displeased with the laptop so far, but nothing I can do now.
