I heard somewhere that the 21 day return policy does NOT apply if you use the EPP discount. Anyone know for sure?
I've ordered from EPP in the past and the 21 day Total Satisfaction Return Policy is in effect. In fact, they are very strict on the 21 days (i.e. ship date + 20 days) and forget about it from day 22 onwards for a full return.

You the Man Dellbert!

That's the best thing to see, someone helping someone else out for nothing. That's what this forum is all about.

I learnt about the 35% Coupons from this forum, and without which I don't think I would have smacked down 3.5k on a Lappy.

I read a long time back Sakor1 getting into a dispute with some guy trying to "Sell" a $50 Coupon for $40. - Unbelievable.

no, I just tried one configured it exacly how my laptop is but with 512 MB of ram which I originally had and it came to a subtotal of $2060 so worked fine for me, though I used the coupon I recieved through e-mail.
Do you have to sign up specially? Are you going to use that coupon?
Sorry to double post but I can't get it? Am I not going through the steps right? It just won't apply itself come checkout...great.

EDIT: Is it because of the other discounts?
I'm guessing the coupon is individual use, so will only work once. First person to use it wins.

Holy crap!!! 45% off!! dtran2k3, did you have to go into a special area to allow those coupons to be used? I'm just going in the regular Dell Home website and it won't let me even get the 33% off.
I talked to a Dell rep today and she said the coupon expired so it won't work anyway but you need an ID number to get the EPP discounts.

EDIT: I figured out how to use the EPP stuff after talking to the Dell rep. She was really nice and gave me her email address so I can email her my cart to see if I can get any special discounts. She said that the reps can see deals that we can't so its possible to get even better % off.

I would just like to know how you guys got those EPP emails...do i just sign up to the regular Dell email list for Home or is there a special mailing list.

That is true, once the coupon is used, it can not be reused, even by the same person.
It expired anyway.

An id number?
So you found a regular non epp 33 Percent coupon
Then a 12 percent epp?
I am guessing they wouldn't allow
a 33 percent regular with a 33 percent epp?
Someone needs to post all teh different possible combinations and how you get them its to trial and errorish
So signing up for epp how? i think i speak for more then oneO:

Offer ends 6/15/05, 11pm CT or after 7500 coupon redemptions, whichever occurs first. Multi-use coupon.
It expired. I just talked to a rep and she said the 7500 was reached.

How were these emailed? Is there a special list?

EDIT: Yes you need the ID number of the organization you are a part of. For instance, I'm going to GW this coming school year and GW has a deal with Dell so you can be apart of EPP. Many corporations have the same thing. You can't just be anybody.

Actually it means Employee Purchase Program. It is for employees who work for companies who purchase from Dell. When I use my first coupon, I had to enter whom my employer was based on the Employer ID.

I have heard of rejections of the coupons, especially those purchased through Ebay etc. Just be careful.
