Anyone have this laptop? It has an intel 2200 wireless card and a geforce go 5700.. I'm not sure exactly what sound card it is but I want to use ubuntu as my primary desktop? Anyone know how it will work?
Thanks

I do not own this laptop, but I can tell you some things. Intel 2200 wireless is fully supported and works well. You should have no problems there. The nvidia card will work great, as nvidia cards have much more support for linux than ati (but new catalysts are a good step forward). All in all, you shouldnt really have any problems with those two pieces of hardware. You should be able to run ubuntu fine... GL

your 2200bg card will work out of the box

you will need to install the driver for nvidia
prett easy
