I am almost certain that we do not have GDDR3. The VRAM on board is definitely just DDR2 (which is 800Mhz, thus the barrier we all face). I don't think ATI would include faster ram unless it was to be used, unlike the core, it isnt more expensive to vary the ram speeds. You see DDR2 and GDDR3 renditions of the same card all the time. However, maybe this is outside of that... I, personally, would love to have this card hold some more secrets!
