Guys with 6800 GO 256Mb from Inspiron 9300, post your highest videocard overclocks WITHOUT any artifacts!

Also, does anyone know WHY the CPU cannot be overclocked? Even with software? FSB or multiplier?

I dont see much risk, with thermal shutdown and a 3 year warranty I am not worried about cranking mine up to 423/752.

See sig, still convinced I could go higher but I dont have the time nor the care too unless it took 2 seconds, which it wouldnt.

I would still love to know why some can go higher than 365 core? any higher than that and I get artifacts.
currently at 365/810= 4362 3DMark05
I have my 6800 up to 400/800 which gives me a score of 4615 in 3dmark05 and 21524 in 3dmark01. Has anyone tried a voltage mod or force flash of a 6800 ultra bios on to their 6800go? And if you did what was the outcome?

It is probably because there are two different cores with two different memory brands. The NV41 (.13u) with Hynix (usually) and NV42 (.11u) with Samsung.

I also have a 3yr onsite warranty for mine but have up till now been afraid to alter the core and memory speeds as i understand this will void your warranty... are you sure it won't fo this Irobertus?
