*UPDATED* Hypersonic Photo Gallery. - Page 8

Hehe... I actually prefer the original "swirl" logo and definitely prefer the original text which appears much more professional in my opinion. In fact, on all systems I have ordered from them, I have made sure that everything was done with the original logo and text styles.

However, like you said, I am sure there are just as many that will like the new option and style. It is just great they will let you choose which style you prefer.

One nice thing is the change of the Hypersonic logo from the swirl to the more metallic look. A bit more asthetic for those who don't like the swirl.
You are correct, sir! That is the Luminous.

What was wrong with my old thread?

I think it may have gotten lost in the other photos area and so this one was created. Not sure. However, this was a quick fix... I merged the two.

After lookin at this thread I'm really excited to get my AX6

I think that is one of the most important things about the photos and reviews of any laptop. Gives you a chance to experience the system without having it. True, you are doing it through someone else, and everyone has different likes and dislikes, but still nicer than reading a review in a magazine.

You will love it! It looks great. On my Fire Mist Pearl Aviator MX6, it really adds to the entire appearance of the lid in my opinion. The swirl has a shadow effect along with the text that just looks really nice.

The same thing above applied for the logo on my Python Special Edition Aviator EX7.

i got mine in the black sapphire metallic. i saw this pic of the EX7 in that color and thought the logo looked really good...grrr...i'm so excited!!! so far the expected ship date is august 4th, so hopefully it won't get delayed too much.

Yes, very nice. To make you even more excited, the colors are usually much deeper and richer in person that when viewed from the pictures. In other words, that black will be very black and will look sharp

I got the unpainted one due to limited funds. Any ideas on how I can spruce it up and make it more eye appealing?

Have the AX6 btw.

There are a couple places that do skins for the laptops. These are like stickers that apply to all or part of the system. Not sure of where to direct you, but I know I have seen them talked about in the threads here, so just do some searches here or on goolge. The important thing is to ensure you are exact in your measurements and that you do not cover up and "much needed" vents. However, a good skin applied to the cover could do wonders.

Great thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for. And I don't think I'd be getting one for the bottom, getting a notebook cooler and nobody is going to be seeing the bottem of the notebook anyways!
On my EX7, I have tried several different types of coolers, but the best thing seems to be elevation. I just happened across the Targus Podium here in Grafenwoehr and picked it up. Seems a lot more sturdy then the three lego blocks I have been using on each side. My son is happy now - he gets his blocks back.

I am thinking about getting some glowing USB cables to plug in and then wrap around the bottom of my laptop. This way, I can have a nice radiant red glow coming from underneath.

Any other pictures of a black Hypersonic floating around? (particularly the ax7)

I like how they had to label this one a laptop computer... Because no one could tell what it was.....................

Does Hypersonic have a gallery yet that shows systems with all of the available colors? Something this custom probably makes it difficult to create a complete gallery. Is there a chance for Hypersonic to send all us mods a test model to to write a review about. *wink. Pat (from Hypersonic), just kidding.

Cant wait to see pics of siberiankiss's Black Sapphire Metallic!
Yeah... I was thinking something similar. Send me each new model and I will do some reviews.

I would love to see a more extensive gallery on their site of all paintjobs, but I guess after awhile, there will be a lot of duplicates and just waste space.

One thing that is there is from the laptop selection screen, you can go deeper into the details (detailed specs) of a notebook and use the color selector to see how it would look in the different colors. This works nice and gives you a choice before you start to customize. An example is: http://www.hypersonic-pc.com/EX7/index.asp

I was gonna post your name specifically, ratmyr, but I didnt know if you had time for anything like that. These things are really super elite custom systems I would be really surprised if they would send new systems to you to post reviews for people. NBF has dedicated a portal for reviews and news so it would definately be seen by a lot of people that are searching for info. Welcome home! I see your info shows your back in good ol' Virginia, USA.

Yeah, I had to update my profiles on every site I visit. What a pain... Hopefully, we will not be moving anytime soon. Now I need to find some gaming enthusiasts around here to hang out with.

I had thought about the reviewing of systems before. I think, however, that it would be less costly to have someone like Pat@Hypersonic do this since it can be done right there in house. But it is always nice to get a users prospective.

I asked my wife if I can buy a new laptop every month and she gave me a look I don't want to explain on the boards here.
