*UPDATED* Hypersonic Photo Gallery. - Page 2

Actually, I have an extremely large office in the basement with a home entertainment center, several computers, couch...etc. I call it my bachelor pad. I used to game from there all the time (pre-laptop days). But I was not upstairs with the family as much. So to make that happen, I joined the laptop world with my Inspiron 8100 and gamed from the recliner. Since then, we have my laptop, my wife's laptop and my son's computer in the living room area. I still have an office full of equipment, but I don't see it much except for LAN parties.

But she is understanding as well. She knows gaming is a stress-relief from work and knows when I haven't gamed much as I get irritable. She is too cool.

Hey Ratmyr, The pictures are really awesome. These are the best pictures of the screen I have seen so far. Hey where did you get those backgrounds(the red backgrounds)? Do they come with XP...? They complement the red on your GX7.
No. I am a very color coordinated individual. My desktop has green neon lights on it, so my background and color schemes are dark green to match it. That was the plan when I was going to go with the Moss Green from PCT, but since the paint was not available, I went with the GX7 and the red.

I go to several web sites offering desktop themes, find the one I like, and then inside PaintShop Pro, I hue it to a dark red (blue on one computer, green on my main desktop, etc). The only one of those I didn't do that too was the boot screen. I had tried, but it kept screwing things up. Then I found the original creator of the file had released a red version, so I was really happy. But the Hackers Inc was originally a silver color.

So basically it is just finding cool images and then hue the colors to a specific scheme you want. Works great.

Check out ThemeXP.org for boot logos, login screens, wallpapers, and GUI visual styles. Ratmyr's bootscreen is a variation of the Bio-Hazard theme (I was using the green version of it as my login about a week ago ).

I hate how they paint over the logo (ie Logitech logo) on custom-painted mice. Would it really be too much to ask to tape over it?
Actually, I kind of like the subdued logo. It doesn't stand out and shouldn't. It is the same way on the keyboard as well. What I found interesting is they put Hypersonic on both the mouse and the keyboard.

Also, for those who didn't notice, the GX7 came with no stickers on it. Some like it, however, I was glad to see they were not there.

I wonder if hypersonic is going to use the new clevo 470k model. I have feeling i wouldn't be able to afford it if they did though. it would be nice to spend 3000+ on a laptop.

that kind of sucks, not the worst thing that could happen but other places like voodoopc paint the pieces seperately including the logo.
I could have sworn that Ive seen a hypersonic painted mouse with the logo.

You can see the logo. It is subdued to the color that it is painted. What stands out is the hypersonic name. The logo on the mouse is much more apparent than that on the keyboard.

Check my photos that I included and you will see the mouse and how the logo engraving is still there.

The AX7 is based on the Clevo 470K. And the price floats around $3k(US), depending on the options you choose.

That's with hypersonic i assume. I am sure it will be cheaper when sagers 4750 is released on the 15 ( i can't wait i wish it was four days earlier. great birthday present) maybe the added competition will lower the price.

Hey does anybody have any information on the GX8? Its displayed on hypersonic's site but can't be configured. The computer looks like it has a full keyboard as well.
If I remember correctly, the GX8 is an older model. I know, that sounds strange, but I remember reading somewhere that it was an older model prior to the GX7. If you look at the specs on the picture, it has an ATI 9600.

However, I could be wrong. You used to be able to connect to their FTP site and look at each subdirectory for the different models. However, now, it is not available - or atleast not when I just tried.

I know that the clevo it is based on is discontinued because of the availability of 16" screens. But the picture on the hypersonic web site confuse me a bit. i wish they would post more views of their products on their site.

If HS padded their prices while providing identical services as Sager, I might be inclined to agree. However, that just isn't the case. You may pay more for a Hypersonic, but you also get more; better warranty, better dead-pixel policy, additional performance tuning, and a 72-hour burn-in period.

I've also read that Sager may in fact be Hypersonic's supplier for Clevo chassis. Many ODMs won't deal with the smaller boutique resellers because of their low volume, so the resellers go thru Sager instead. By consolidating these smaller orders and adding them to their own, Sager gets a better bulk rate from Clevo, while also profiting on the markup to the boutiques. If that's the case, then Hypersonic's unit price couldn't possibly be as low as Sager's ever. Not sure how true this is (I read it on VooDoo's website), but I also have no reason to doubt it.
