Need help on installing linux on TM8103, plz help!!

Anyone ever successfully installed linux on TM8103?
I tried to install fedora core4 on my TM8103, could successfully go through the installation process, went dead everytime when trying to boot up fedora core4.
Also tried Mandriva LE2005 version today. however it cannot correctly find the harddisc control driver, the install process just went dead.

If anyone ever successfully installed linux on TM8103, plz help me on this problem.

I have Slackware 10 installed on TM8104.
If you can, try installing with a 2.4 kernel.
In 2.6 the disk driver that works is under SCSI/SATA
