New BIOS from Clevo

should the 8886 come with the most current BIOS or are those on the clevo website more current?

Also is anybody having problems with Direct X9 ?\\

I installed directx9 and had no trouble EXCEPT for 007 Nightfire, which had trouble on my own laptop and all of my friends' computers which all had dx9 on them :-) Other than that, I had no trouble whatsoever.

The bios should be dated.... you may want to check the revision date on the bios installed on your laptop and then check that of the ones on the sager website. Hope that helps!

wut kind of troubles are yo uhaving with 007 nightfire?? I have played this and it seems to work fine, tho the game itself kinda stinks in my opinion. i have a 1800+ athlon oced to 2000+ the AIW radeon 8500dv 64mb ddr and 512 pc2100 ram. Is it lag? or does the game not work at all?? i HAVE noticed that the video in the game is very fuzzy... but i think this is just the game...
