I9100
p4 2.8ghz
512mb System memory
40gb Hard Drive
MR9700 - 64mb

Demo runs fine in low details. I get an occasional hiccup in FPS every 2min or so but nothing to really concern myself with. I figure another 512mb of system memory will help clear that up. a mr9800 wouldn't hurt either, but those are still hard to get without selling a liver or something.

Does it run fine on 1280x800 or 1920x1200? - this is more important that your CPU speed or hard drive size, you know...

I am running it at 1920x1200 with everything turned on max except for aa and I get around 30 fps. Sorry, couldn't resist.
By the way, I pressed alt+ctrl+del to see how much memory this game takes and it was around 750 mb on all maps I opened (3-4 of them). So if you guyz kill all unnesessary services and drop them around 200 mb or less you will be ok with 1 gb ram. With 512 mb you will have problems.

Please help. I installed BF2. 800x600. After playing for a while i tried 960x720 but then only half of the screen is what i can see on my i9100.

I have a 9100 with a 9700/128Mb.

Which settings do i have to change...so 960x720 will fit 1680x1050?

Mine is on 800x600 with low details atm mainly because i don't have enough ram (512MB).The game is constantly using the hard drive beucase i don't have the ram space for it. My 1GB of corsair ram is waiting for me at home so i will see what i can get then.

AP27, you left out the most important part of your machine in your sig....Video Card.
-------------------------------------
Well, I've been finetuning the retail version (runs MUCH worse than the Demo did).

Resolution : 1024x768 @ 60 (I enabled keep aspect ration in my ATI control pannel so the game isnt streatched arcoss the entire screen)

Textures: (Demo was High -Sooo pretty) Medium (High lagged like hell)
Effects: High
Terrain: High
Geometry: High
Lighting: Medium
Shadows: Medium
Dynamic Shadows: Medium
Anti Aliasing: 2x
Draw Distance: 90%
Texture Filtering: High

-Retail
-Demo

FPS is at 25/40 (I don't know what the two numbers mean) when you type renderer.drawfps 1

System specs in sig (minus heatmod and overclock).

Just my MR98 two cents

Textures: High
Terrain: Medium
Geometry: Medium
Lighting: Medium
Effects: High
Shadows: Medium
Dynamic Shadows: Medium
Anti Aliasing: 6x
Draw Distance: 100%
Texture Filtering: High

FPS usually 60, sometimes drops to 50 or so.

I'm crying. I WANT one so bad (9800) I hope to get one soon.

From my experience, I've seen little difference with Medium/High shadows and lighting along with geometry. Game still looks damn good on medium.
