M40 - 6600 Go Drivers (Battlefield 2)

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

I downloaded the BF2 Demo and I tried to play it on my M40 JM300. My specs should be more than adequte to play the game but I notice it is performing horribly. It keeps telling me to update my drivers to the latest ones, but when I try and download them off the Nvidia website, it keeps telling me that the installation can't find drivers for my hardware.

Is there some place I can get the latest nVidia 6600 Go drivers? Or is there some way I can use the default to install them? Has anyone run BF2 on their M40 successfully at a good speed? I even tried installing the drivers that came with BF2, but I get the same error message.

Please help me out!!

Thanks,
Sim

Yeah, you need moded .inf drivers for it to work on laptops or drivers released by the respectable manifactuer. I tried using the 71.8x drivers but it doesn't load bf2 for me but when i revert to 71.70(toshibas) it works. I get annoying blocks around objects when I play bf2. You might want to check out laptopvideo2go website for the modded drivers but remember your responsible for installing unoffical drivers (: i'll keep uptodate with the video drivers when they realease a stable one
