I recently purchased a dv4000 (1.6 pentium M, 1GB ram, 80 GB) and I've been having trouble with the touchpad. Every so often, about every five or ten seconds of every few minutes, the touchpad will freeze up and I'll be unable to move the mouse. This typically happens when opening up an application or something equally intensive, but this also happens when the computer is being idle. I was just wondering if this is something common with the dv4000, or common with all laptops, or if there is something wrong with mine.
