Just Finished Cleaning SCREEN!

Thread Starter
Hey all, as I have had this laptop for a month the screen got kinda dirty and stuff but i've been scared to clean it as it is a very glossy coat.

Going through some of my old military stuff I found some SunGlass Hut Solution and microfiber rag and figured if it could clean my Gold Oakleys without scratching maybe itll clean this.

WOWWWWWWWWW what a difference the monitor looks GORGEOUSSSSSS like a bed of water its soo nice and glossy as it should be, WOHOOO..

Anyway just wanted to share!

monster crap in general is such a ripoff
honestly my friends worked at bestbuy and futureshop
and the markup anywhere on monster stuff, cables and other crap
is 85%!!!!!

85 fricking percent, the employees always laughed and clapped whenever a guy picked one up, seriously don't buy anything from monster
the gold connections and special shielding is a marketing ploy and to keep on marketing that crap they have to jack up their prices

this might be just for cables, but i'm starting to see more and more monster crap
i'm completely happy with going to a photography store where they sell lense cleaning stuff, and microfiber clothes for alot less
and you can go to the sunglass store like rockinfella2k said

anyway sorry for the rant, just don't buy monster anything

I just use water and a microfibre glasses cleaning cloth.

I agree on the Monster Crap.

Clean Power give me a break.. Like your TV could function with power flux. Like you need clean power for your AC adapter. What do think the AC Adapter is for.

By the way there is a converter in your TV.

off topic:
agreed..monster products are marked up a lot, just like any other cable/wiring company, or even media company..

that's the name of the business.. market your product with unique designs/features and charge higher prices, its called business. I don't like it, but if you were on the other side, you'll be just happy with it.

If the product is good, and the customer is willing to buy and pay for it, then there's no problem with it. If the product sucks or does not function as advertised, no one would purchase it and Monster and other like companies would be driven to the ground, but so far Monster is still around. Look at all other technology products..most people buy name brand items and not "no-name" generic brands such as great quality from Fry's or something..marketing is what drives business and brand recognition

What is more unfair is the market on soda fountain drinks at your local fast food restaurants, gas stations, 7-11's, etc. My uncle used to own a gas station and the soda fountain machines were like a gold mine..the mark-up is way more than 80-85%...now that is a true money-maker

now back on topic:
i would suggest going to an optometrist's office to get this solution along with a nice microfiber towel, it'll probably be cheaper

Belkin's LCD cleaning Kit is what I've been using on my glossy beauty..
Monster Cable is not marked up as much as other cables (Recoton, Audiophase, Belkin). The employee discount on Monster at BBY is around 15%, not 85%. Even if you go through the employee accomodation program and get them directly from Monster, the most you get off is about 30%.

off topic:
hahahah do you actually think that they sell to bestbuy at their cost?
you've got to be kidding me right?
it's just copper wiring...... which is like what two cents? (joking, but still)
they produce in bulk which drives costs of all those "extra features" down
so you are still being ripped off even if you get your special employee discount or accomodation program = meaning they are still making money
