Where can I get an updated driver for this video card other than the HP website? I went to download what I thought were the right drivers from NVIDIA but it said it could not find the installed hardware on my system?? It should not be this hard!

Thanks to rich benn & brianstretch

You can get the nVidia drivers to work; however, you will need to get modified .inf files. These are available from:

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com - be very careful if you want to go this route because some of them don't work and cause lockups.

These .inf files support overclocking and bunches of other features.

The standard files from the nVidia website don't support many of their mobile versions. They are generally left to the OEM's.

OR

You could use the desktop drivers by selecting the video chip in Device Manager, selecting Update Driver, pointing that to the directory the desktop driver setup was installed to, and selecting GeForce 440MX or something like that.

Also make sure you delete the old drivers, reboot, then install the new ones.
