Where are the Sonomas?

Thread Starter
Will the 700m and 600m have Sonoma based chipsets by the end of the summer? Maybe dedicated graphics on the 700m? I sure freakin hope so because I have been waiting very impatiently for the last month. If anyone has any info please post. I know that there have been similar posts such as this one, but I need to know for sure.

More likely both models will be replaced instead of upgraded.

I think the laditude d610 is basically a sonoma 600m but dont quote me.

I am waiting for that too. I hope they'll be upgraded before september...

the 600m/D600's replacement already exists in dell small business in the guise of the lattitude D610.

I don't think there will be any revisions of these models for a little while yet, certainly not before september. They have other models utilising the sonoma platform, and the 700m, etc just sell a lot of units as is. Personally, my next laptop purchase wont come until the dual core Pentium-M's hit late this year/ early next

An improved version of the 700m would be great. Some kind of dedicated graphics would definately make it a better machine.

There won't be new ones before September. What I keep hearing is that the replacement for the 600m is supposed to come out at the end of the year. I don't know anything about a new 700m. I agree, though. They should put dedicated graphics in it. They should also put better graphics in the 600m.
