My m70 is 2 months old. The battery died and the laptop is getting hot "beyond normal hot". Dell says it might be the motherboard and they can install a new one. I'm not a fan of having someone opening up a new computer to install a motherboard. In prior experiences "not with dell" but other brands when i have had service done to my computer which required opening up the computer, it always came back with a ding, or scratch and the the computer just felt like it had be opened, the keyboard rattled.

Has anyone managed to get a replacement from dell after 2 months, I wouldn't mind them opening it up like if it was 5 months or older, but i just feel this is just too short of a period for motherboard replacement.
