Hi, can someone tell me What you prefer in your laptop. And does less heat mean longer life for laptop?

I prefer the chip that says AMD64 on it.

AMD64 for DTR's

P-M/Turions for thin & lights.

Semprons for budget notebooks.

P4's never belonged on a notebook. They just run too hot, I would pick the P-M 760 and it will probably even perform better than the P4 640.

I agree... Heck i just worked on a laptop today with a P4 in it that runs at 60c at idle...
