Arg! Two days old and a stuck pixel!

Had a Sony P2 laptop for years and the lcd was flawless. Blah.

I got the little flashy movie thats suppose to help, but can anyone tell me where to get a codec for it?

Have you called Dell and asked (complained) them to fix it? I had a Toshiba 2750DVD a 5 years ago, with an SVGA screen that made a dead pixel REALLY obvious. Toshiba had a 12 pixel policy (what a joke) but after a bit of complaining they fixed it.

Of course, being 10 and saying that in the letter helped my cause

One stuck pixel and you're complaining? This is well within accepted standards and really not that big of an issue IMHO...

I think you have the WXGA (based on other threads), and on that 1 pixel would be noticable. I was able to notice one on a 15" XGA screen, and a WXGA 15.4" screen has about the same dpi.

Call dell and ask them about it. I think it is an issue, as it is quite annoying.

Klick, do you have a dead pixel? Have you ever?
