What a find. Thanks DurrmAGeorge. I do user manuals etc etc and that product is *exactly* what I have been looking for.

Here is a couple of bananas and a beer for your effort: .

Thanks for the bananas and beer......well the beers anyway.

what kinda "user manuals" do you do?

Mainly system recovery manuals for Sun/DEC servers. Up until I bought the 8890 I was producing the manuals in traditional hardcopy. What I now want to do is a multi-media CD along with a basic hardcopy that operators can insert into their PC or service laptop and bring the server back on line. This may include a total system rebuild if it is a disaster recovery senario.

Now I have the 8890 I have enough grunt to run video editing sw like Premier Pro so I can also add live instructions as to how to cable the boxes up and boot sequence instructions.

Damn sounds like a project and a half.

I've only used it to explain simple crap to my wife like......
"How to use the Internet" click start....click the Internet Explorer with the little blue E icon blah blah blah.

At least she doesn't have to wake me up now everytime she wants to shutdown the PC.

There are a lot of programs. Though there are programs capable of recording the majority of recordable streaming video, I suggest to choose a program for a particular stream.

IMHO the best streaming video recording software:
HiDownload, NetTransport, StreamDown, WM Recorder.

Take a look at all-streaming-media.com to know more
