Yay finally....(128mb vram) What do you think the higher end models (ex. 7522gx) will have over this one? Better processor, althon 4000?
4000+ CPUs aren't available for socket 754.

Any chance a higher model with the x700 is coming out?

JR seems to have them, as ramificatio posted:
http://www.jr.com/JRProductPage.process?Product=4042928

it says 128 mb vram... that's awesome!

You can buy a USB Bluetooth adapter, if you really need it.

By the way, a user at notebookreview.com claims he checked it out at bestbuy and that this notebook has 256MB VRAM (enabled with hyper memory?)
I have a question: Why don't they put these models on Gateway's site? Or am I just missing something?
If you read the lawsuit that AMD has against Intel you will know why.

This article will give you a good know-how about it. http://www.sudhian.com/showdocs.cfm?aid=690

Hopefully things will change in the upcoming years. It wasn't a very good experience going around the websites of the major companies looking for a good AMD powered laptop. Until I found the 7405GX at BB!

This is true. I did the same thing today at my nearest BB and it does show 256mb of dedicated ram for the x600. I didn't believe it at first. Damm, I almost bought that rig today. I want to take my burned copy of 3dmark01 in to BB and see what kind of score the 7510 gets in stock trim. I have scored over 12000 with my 6809 (oc'd video, of course) on 3dmark01. I am curious to see what kind of score this rig has compared to my one year old 6809. If it blows it out of the water, I may bite and buy it. Then ebay my 6809, unless anyone out there is interested in buying it. For $1399 it seems like a screaming rig. Can anyone think of a better gaming rig available for the same price??

Damn, 256MB VRAM? I might have to upgrade, if that's the case...

Here

They had the 7405GX, 7422GX & the 7426GX on their site too.

They never list my desktop or any other AMD desktop on the site though.
they have the specs up and thats about it... I've seen that before... but there's no way to buy it from there...

when I bought my 7405, my dad was at bb with me and he wanted a laptop... so I told him to get a centrino... but after this, I won't be recommending any intel machines anymore... and I'll make sure that family purchases are not made on Intel's side... let's start a boycot

It would be nice if someone could do a benchmark with 3dmark05 on the 7510gx. I'd like to see how it compares to the 680.

Edit: I see that someone has posted their 3dmark05 scores for the 7510. It seems that they are significantly lower than the 680. The 680 is also $100 less, making it a seemingly better buy.

The one being offered at BB? This http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1117177722001 ?

Show us the benchmark which proves so.
