My new T42 is infected with spyware and trojan virus. I am almost on the verge of formatting my pc.
But i didn;t get a windows xp cd with my t42 (i bought a refurb).
The only cd i got was a lotus smart suite cd.
Does ibm give a win xp cd?

Can you guys recommend a good anti-trojan anti virus.
Norton is totally useless. It detects but says "delete failed".
such a piece of sh#&.

ooh, ouch.....lesson #1- stop using your cpu to look at porn on the internet, as soon as you learn that, maybe someone else can help you...free bump! :-D

hehehe. I wasnt looking at porn man. I accidentally clicked an advert and then everything got screwed.

Thanks guys. I just got rid of the spyware. but now yahoo messenger seems to have problems displaying text- the text i receive and type. I just cant see them. this sucks!
