I have a Tiny laptop and a Casio digital camera. 6 weeks ago everything worked fine, now I plug in the camera to the USB port and the system recognises the camera but when I click on removable E drive it says it is inaccessible. Tried to go a different way round by accessing camera from within progs and camera and scanner wizard, it says cannot detect camera. I have troubleshooted the USB ports, uninstalled the camera and reinstalled it, and still have the same probs. The correct camera always appears under Device Manager/Universal Serial Bus Controllers and it always says that the device is working properly.
The problem is not that the USB ports are not working as other devices work ie scanner and printer, the camera is not at fault as it still works on daughters pc.
