Will Pioneer DVR K05 fit 700m?

Has anyone put the slot load unit into the 700m drive bay? Any gaps from the front bezel? Other receommended units instead of the Pioneer?

I know somebody else on this board used one, and it worked great for them.

I just ordered one for me, it should be in next week. I'll let you know how it goes.

I got it because quite frankly, it's pretty dman cool. that and it's a dvd burner which i didn't have previously. I was working an a G4 laptop at work, and the slot loaders are just too sweet.

i have the panasonic uj845b. i've posted pictures about the gap to the left side of the slot drive showing the panasonic installed as well as several other photos of the drive with disc. it will be the same for the pioneer as well. gap isn't worth mentioning. another poster did buy the pioneer, just do a search of it.
