Upgrade memory RAM for ThinkPad A21M

Hello,

I wish to upgrade the RAM to 512MB on my A21M but I have a question: Is the SDRAM memory proprietary to IBM, where I'd have to get it from them, or could I just buy it at any local PC store ?

Daniel,

No, this type of RAM is not proprietary to IBM. Try Kingston, Crucial, etc. where you fill in the make and model of your pc and they will match the correct module.
