Just wondering if anyone else with this laptop has ever had this problem. I know it isn't the drive because I actually have two 5680's right now (my original I am sending back to Sager and my new replacement) and I swapped the drives thinking it was a bad drive, but got the same problem with the new drive. Basically it will VERY randomly mess up, so that I can see the contents of a CD but can not run things from it, and the associated icons do not appear (if an exe, then the corresponding exe icon. instead for an icon it just shows unknown file type). Its done this with burned and non-burned CD's. Did it badly with the Sager driver/manual CD.
The real problem is when it does it while I'm installing something and I get the windows error "wrong volume in drive" which won't go away no matter what I do. This has messed up 3 installs!
Anyone? I'd really really appreciate some help. Thanks all!
