Well, my 9880 is due to be delivered tomorrow, at least according to UPS tracking. First of all, I'd like to thank all you guys for the HUGE amount of information that a (mostly) lurker like me can get out of reading the forums and, in particular, the answers that I got to my questions in just a couple of hours after asking them. I'd be feeling a lot worse about saying bye-bye to all that money if I hadn't been able to justify in my mind a lot of the decisions that went into placing the order. Most of that justification came from you.

Second, if you don't mind...

how long did it take from ordering to recieving, and what state you in?

I ordered it on June 14th, and the UPS tracking site says that it's on its way for delivery as I type this, on the 21st. I'm in Texas.

I was going to order it from PC Torque, but they're in Texas, too, and the sales tax was a killer. So, I ordered it from DiscountLaptops.com, in Nevada. So far, so good.

Just got mine yesterday and too my delight mine had 0 dead pixels... it feels good

well, i ordered mine on the 15th... if it gets to texas in 7 days, and its 3 days from TX to CA, then i should expect mine on the... 15+7+3 = 25th! saturday! 'nuff time for 3 LANs before i leave for the summer...
