Which notebook would you get? Hypersonic, Alienware, Sager, Dell and Falcon Northwest seem to be the major players in the desktop replacement world of notebooks, so which one of these would you buy or any notebook for that matter if cost was no factor, what would be your dream notebook that is currently available. Or do you already own your dream 3 grand+ notebook?

Dell XPS Gen 2
2.13GHz Pentium M processor
2GB DDR2 RAM
100GB 7200RPM hard drive
And of course, the TV tuner, the DVD burner, extra battery, and the 4 year warranty with Complete Care.

My second choice would be the top-of-the-line Alienware laptop, whatever that is.

If I had an unlimited amount of money I would spend it for development of the products for my dream notebook, then buy my dream notebook

Quad-Core P-M w/ 2133 MHz FSB Running at 10 GHz, 128 Bit of course
10 GBs XDR Ram running at 2 GHz with a CAS of 1.5
500 GB 15000 RPM HDD
nVidia 10000 with 2 GBs of GDDR V Ram

Well you get the idea

I'd build my own barebones:O :O
You get everything you want, You get to build it
+ +
I mean you could spend 3 grand just getting the leetest case:O :O(exageration)
But i emean you see what i'm saying? Get everything you ever wanted all in one thing... and you gcould get the case specially designed etc.. so it would be one a kind not some semi-mass produced item.

Indeed, my notebook is a qosmio g15, but these forums are dominated by the clevo chassis notebooks and the dell xps gen 2, so I didn't really count Toshiba as a powerhouse.

I think I would get the Sager 9880 since it is the only Clevo clone with the WUXGA resolution right now.

Ha ha, why I need a laptop myself? I can have hundreds of people working for me

But probably Latitude X1
