I have a Logitech MX310 mouse. When surfing the web, this mouse has a button on the left side setup as a back button to go back one page per click. Recently this stoped working after viewing a couple of webpages. It works as its supposed to do for going back a few pages but then doesn't work, yet if I restart the laptop it works fine again but only for again, a few pages. Is the mouse port at fault? I am using a USB connector to connect the USB mouse socket into the back of the 5-pin mouse port.
